The GEM Community Center Purchase & Refund Policies
The GEM Community Center is a nonprofit organization that operates through the generosity of donations and community support. We kindly ask that you consider your purchases carefully, as refund requests may impact our ability to continue serving our mission.
If you choose to discontinue participation in any purchased services, your order may be considered void, and no refunds will be issued. This policy is in place to ensure the sustainability of our nonprofit mission and is subject to applicable laws and regulations.
Item Purchase Policy
All item purchases, whether anything related to events, all and any other types of digital or physical, products & services are non-refundable. However, exchanges may be considered at our discretion based on availability. Any exchange requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us make a difference in the community. If you have any questions, please contact us before making a purchase.
Sponsor Refund Policy
All sponsorship contributions are non-refundable. However, refund requests may be considered at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Once a sponsorship agreement is confirmed and payment is received, any refund requests will be subject to review and are not guaranteed.
In certain cases, sponsorship benefits may be transferred to a future event at our discretion.

Therapy Refund & Confidentiality Policy
All therapy fees paid directly to us or through a third-party agency are non-refundable, including self-pay and grant-funded sessions. If your sessions are billed through insurance, any refund inquiries must be directed to your insurance provider. However, we do not recommend this, as refunds are subject to your insurance policy and state regulations.
Confidentiality is protected by law. Your information will not be disclosed without your written consent, except as required by law in cases of harm to self or others, abuse, or court orders.
Third-Party Services Non-Refund Policy
The GEM Community Center partners with various vendors, teachers, speakers, business coaches, business owners, and mentors to provide valuable services. Please note that any payments made directly to these third parties are non-refundable, and The GEM Community Center is not responsible for their policies or practices.
If you have any concerns regarding a service provided by one of our partners, please address them directly with the individual or organization you engaged with.
Vendor Non-Refund Policy
Thank you for your participation as a vendor. Please note that all vendor fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations, inclement weather, or unforeseen events. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.
At our discretion, we may allow transfers to future events on a case-by-case basis. Any such transfers are not guaranteed and will be reviewed individually.
